Document Management

Axxerion’s Document Management module goes beyond shared folders on an internal network. Our intuitive and thorough solution includes features such as version management, revision management, access control, and review or comment functionality.

Revision & Version Management

When a user checks out a document it remains locked to changes until it is check backed in to ensure that only one user alters the document at a given time. Users can review or download current and previous versions of documents, and a record is kept which tracks when document versions are made, downloaded or viewed.

Exporting

Documents are exported into a format that can be viewed in a web browser, such as PDF or JPEG, allowing users without the software to review or print the document.

Search

Search for documents and for specific phrases/text within documents that have been scanned using text recognition.

Folders & Links

Organize your documents with folders and subfolders. Link a document to other documents, properties, or inventory items. These links can be used for CAD reference files or to link stylesheets to HTML documents.

Highlighting & Notifications

Add highlights and comments to a document, with the text, author, and date of a document being displayed when the cursor is moved over a highlighted area.

Security

Access privileges to documents, and even to specific folders and sub-folders, can be configured per user group. Access privileges may also be linked to the status of a workflow.
